How do I warm up my Mountain Waffles?
Any warming device works — toaster, conventional oven, convection oven, microwave, or waffle iron. Most waffles are ready in 25–30 seconds in a microwave or toaster. Our Individually Wrapped waffles can also be enjoyed at room temperature straight from the package — they are that good.
Do you offer private label or custom formulations?

Are your waffles gluten-free?
Our waffles are made with wheat flour and are not gluten-free. However, all other ingredients are all-natural with no artificial additives, and we offer Halal and Kosher certified versions for customers with those dietary requirements.

Where are Mountain Waffles made?
All Mountain Waffle Co. products are made in Belgium by our manufacturing partner using authentic Belgian ingredients including whole Belgian pearl sugar, non-GMO wheat flour, and rBST-free milk and butter. Our facility is BRC certified for global food safety compliance.
What is a Liège waffle?
A Liège waffle is a Belgian waffle made from thick waffle dough (not batter) with whole Belgian pearl sugar. When the pearl sugar hits the waffle iron, it bursts and caramelizes, spreading a sugary crunch evenly throughout the waffle. Our Liège waffles are made in Belgium with non-GMO wheat flour, rBST-free milk and butter, barn eggs, yeast and whole Belgian pearl sugar.
What's the shelf life?
Our waffles are shipped and stored frozen, and kept frozen they last up to 18 months from the date of production. Once thawed to room or refrigerated temperature, Individually Wrapped (IW) waffles last 12–13 weeks, Galette Style Sandwich Waffles 6 weeks, and Bulk Pack waffles 8–10 days. Each product page lists its exact shelf life.
How should I store them?
Keep them frozen: all of our products are meant to be shipped and stored frozen, then thawed to room temperature or in the refrigerator as needed. Waffles can be refrozen immediately upon arrival, but each day spent at room or refrigerated temperatures reduces their shelf life.
Who do you sell to?
We sell authentic Liège Belgian waffles to retail, wholesale and foodservice customers, including restaurants, hotels, universities, stadiums and cruise lines, grocery and specialty food stores, retail bakery departments, coffee shops, and meal kit and gift box companies. Anyone can also order by the case from our online store.
How do I order retail vs wholesale?
To buy by the case, use the Add to Cart buttons on our Products & Shop page and product pages. For wholesale, submit an inquiry on our Wholesale page, email david@mountainwaffle.com, or call 610-864-4428. Wholesale customers can buy factory direct by the container load, by truckload and pallet shipped frozen from our cold storage facility in Denver, PA, or through their preferred distributors.
When do orders ship?
Case orders ship first thing every Monday morning, and orders in by Sunday at 5PM are included. Regular UPS Ground shipments should arrive anywhere in the US by the end of the week, often in 1–3 days. For overnight or guaranteed 2-day shipping, call 610-864-4428 by Monday at 11AM ET. Orders west of the Mississippi River that include Bulk Pack waffles require 2-day shipping. Pallet (LTL) shipments go out every Friday for arrival the following week.
