Steps

1Soak wooden skewers 15 minutes so they don't scorch.
2Thread a bite, a marshmallow, a bite, a marshmallow, a bite. Starting and ending on a bite keeps the marshmallows from sliding off.
3Toast with a kitchen torch or over a fire, turning, until golden. Using the broiler? Set the rack 6 inches below it, 30–60 seconds per side, and don't walk away; the bites' sugar scorches before the marshmallows color.
4Drizzle with the melted chocolate and rest 1 minute before serving. The marshmallows will be hot.

Tips & Swaps

Swap: Dip the finished skewers in the melted chocolate instead of drizzling.
